This private online course focuses on the most essential areas of English grammar—particularly verb tenses and their real-life use. It is ideal for students at levels A2 to B2 who want to understand English tenses deeply, correct common mistakes, and become more accurate in speaking and writing.
You will receive 8 individual lessons (60 minutes each, 2x per week), with all materials tailored to your level and learning style: grammar sheets, exercises, revision notes, and interactive online tasks.
Course Content
1. Class: Present Tenses
Understand the difference between the Present Simple and Present Continuous. Learn when and how to use them clearly, and practise both spoken and written usage through real-life examples.
2. Class: Past Tenses
Explore the Past Simple and Past Continuous. Learn how to talk about completed actions, background events, and storytelling structures effectively.
3. Class: Future Tenses
Get to know “will”, “going to”, Present Continuous for future, and other future forms. Discover when to use each structure depending on the situation and intention.
4. Class: Conditional Sentences
Learn how to form and use the zero, first, second, and third conditionals. Practise how to speak about facts, possibilities, imaginary situations, and regrets.
5. Class: Passive Voice
Understand how the passive voice works in different tenses. Learn when and why it’s used in English, and how to transform active into passive sentences correctly.
6. Class: Verb + Gerund / Infinitive Structures
Master common verb patterns with gerunds (e.g. enjoy doing) and infinitives (e.g. want to do). Practise how to use them naturally in everyday communication.
7. Class: Past Simple vs Present Perfect
Learn the key differences between these two confusing tenses. Understand the idea of life experiences, time relevance, and finished vs. unfinished actions.
8. Class: Overview & Practice
In the final session, review all the key grammar points. Practise with exercises, speaking tasks, and personalised feedback to make sure everything is clear and confidently used.
